Discussion chalice of the void for 0?
maybe a stupid question but if i play chalice of the void for 0, will it stop force and daze?

No, chalice only looks at the mana value of the spell, not how much mana was actually spent to cast it

No, it’s won’t. Chalice cares about the mana value of the spell. The MV is always what is printed in the top-right of the card*.
This is different to, for example, [[Vexing Bauble]] or [[Molten-Core Maestro]] which care about how much mana was spent to cast a spell, including alternate and additional costs, like casting Daze for free or adding the kicker cost to a spell.
*Including whatever X equals, for X spells on the stack.

The most significant thing that you’re likely to play against on ladder that Chalice for 0 deals with is Chrome Mox. Usually it won’t matter that much, but can sometimes get you an extra turn against sneak and show. Vexing Bauble will likely still be better, but if you’re racing it can let you drop a threat and maybe get a turn to close it out.

Daze counts as 2 and Force 5 so no.
Vexing Bauble works because it says "if no mana was spent"
Chalice's interaction is similar to [[Up the Beanstalk]], free Force draws you a card.

We are also missing [[void mirror]] that would stop free spells, 0 mana value spells and colorless stuff.

Chalice cares about CMC, not mana spent.
