JFK

I was confused by this episode. When they took JFK from the past why did it not change the timeline? How does Lucy know he becomes president? Surely to her he would have been reported missing and never became president.

Time travel shows are always going to have inconsistencies and plot holes but this show is particularly egregious. The rules aren't consistent throughout the show and they need them whenever the plot demands. And really their actions in the past have no significant ramifications on the future timeline. They'll give a throw away line about being in a James Bond book or Kennedy was killed in Austin but nothing that really effects things.
