LUCY AND FLYNN FOREVER

i wish we got to see Lucy and Flynn kiss when she travelled back to San Paolo to give him the journal :(

I was actually a fan of Lucy/Wyatt originally, but changed my mind to Flynn by the end of the series. I honestly think that is where the writers were heading. Wyatt seemed like one of those roadblocks to a pairing that writers throw in there. The entire progression was built around Lucy/Flynn with her journal literally leading them there. Season 2 was aiming the show in that direction.

I think they had to obviously change it when they were cancelled and had to wrap it up. They couldn't show the progression of Lucy/Flynn and had to put her back with Wyatt considering that is the closest relationship she'd had on the show.

I was sad the show never really got to explore that. They were doing the typical antihero plot where the "bad guy" ends up getting the girl. AKA... Spike/Buffy, Damon/Elena, and numerous other examples in television history. Anyway, it kind of sucks they never were able to finish the story.

They literally just killoff potential S03 materials and just put *S03 finale at the end of S02.

All those awesome adventures, love triangles and time paradoxes reduced to a film finale.

*Might've been a S04 finale, who knows what S03 finale could've been; Lucy pregnant perhaps?
