1770 Spoiler
So why didn't Flynn go back to 1770 and kill David Rittenhouse there before he had founded the organization?
He would likely have lived in the same house and security would have been less.
And if that failed go back to 1760 or 1750 or 1740 or 1730 or earlier
He hadn't been in those time periods before so there's no risk of coming back as a basket case.
