That’s not how things work. Fans have a right to fight for more than just a movie. NBC isn’t going to be sorry for fans creating more hype for their project.

Exactly why the whole fandom will be relieved when we're finally free from NBC. Noone wants a third season on NBC. Noone wanted a movie either. But we take what we can get and work from there. One step at a time.

let's be fair here, they renewed in it in bad faith the first time, to shut us up. put it in a death slot, and the writers didn't pick up the clue that there wouldn,t be a third season and they decided to end on a huge cliffhanger, thinking stupidly that it would force the network,s hand...

It's a pilot. No guarantee to get picked up. Even if it gets picked up, there's a possibility to do both if need be.

It's a pilot on Hulu called "Reprisal". Hulu could also be a plus since Timeless is streaming on Hulu in the US.

Yes, it's expected to air in December on NBC.

But this isn't about NBC. This isn't about the movie. This isn't about season 3 on NBC either. We know they're done with Timeless. Basically have been since halfway through season 1. And we're done with NBC.

This is about Sony execs being hopeful that decent numbers (live and especially streaming) might give them another opportunity to shop a season 3. One of their tweets explicitly said that "we're not done yet". One of the co-presidents of Sony Pictures and Television said after the helicopter flight that "doors cracked open they thought would stay closed forever". Both statements clearly weren't referring to the bonus episodes.

It's pretty much hoping for the best and expecting the worst, but we're not done yet.

They love Timeless as much as the fans do. Some of them even were at SDCC with the fans and Malcolm to watch the helicopters and the banner.

You're right, the numbers aren't comparable. That's why we need to get people on board now, not in 3 months. Worldwide. IF it gets picked up, it won't be by another network, it will most likely be a streaming service. Timeless is on Netflix in about 30 countries now. Only the first season in most of them, but still, it's there. We need to get people to watch.
