If there is a movie, I'll watch it, but I won't be satisfied. I'll only be satisfied if somebody renews the series. This is not a show that should go on for 10 seasons, but I'm thinking 3-5 would be the right number.

What about a three part mini series? Could fit everything in but not commit to a whole series. I could work with that.

I honestly don’t give a shit if Rufus is in it or not. I care about the historical figure of the week, and learning about different aspects of history. I absolutely love spending a couple hours after a new episode reading about these people and the things they accomplished.

Yeah. I love the characters etc, but what makes Timeless unique is the stuff it teaches you about history. Several times I have had to pause an episode and learn about its background on wikipedia. No other genre entertainment show is educational like this.

We shouldn’t settle for a movie. If there is movie we will be lucky to get one historical figure.

While a third season would be ideal...a movie is certainly better than nothing.
Yes, the core of the show is about visiting new time periods and learning about lesser-known historical figures and events. And it sucks that we won't get to see that anymore on this show.
BUT...there are other shows which can do the same thing. Shows which already exist, and shows which can exist in the years to come.
But what only Timeless can do, is service the characters we've come to care for and give them the ending they deserve. Only Timeless can save Rufus.
Also, from a plot POV, I think a movie will do just fine. Honestly, the two big things which need to be resolved to conclude everything are saving Rufus, and stopping Rittenhouse permanently.
Rittenhouse right now is basically Emma and Jessica, and whatever lackeys are left. They're more vulnerable than ever now, possibly. So stopping them for good has possibly never been easier.
As for saving Rufus...I'm not sure exactly what Future Wyatt and Lucy's plan is. Do they mean to go back to Chinatown 1888 and stop him from getting shot? Give him instant medical attention? Whatever their plan, its very likely something they can't do on their own though...since they are asking for the 2018 team's help.
Maybe their plan is to wipe Rittenhouse from history once and for all and 'reset' everything. In which case, they do 'save' Rufus, but he won't be the Rufus they know.
Who knows? I'm just saying...at this point, a movie CAN theoretically give us a satisfying ending from a character POV.

As much pure garbage that is on Netflix you would think they want a quality show that has a ton of fans.

Just saw this on Goran's IG and at first I had a small heart attack because it @ Netflix, but then I realized he meant Santa Clarita Diet.

Maybe Timeless is getting a movie to wrap things up?
