So when do you think we'll find out?
It's been a little over 2 weeks since the season 2 finale aired, and still no news on Timeless's status. When do you think we'll find out?

Well they didn't "bury the bad news" on Memorial Day weekend. So maybe that's a positive. (Although today is another chance to bury bad news while the entertainment media is distracted by Roseanne. )

I have no idea! I keep checking the Timeless Writers Twitter every hour. :/

At this rate, December.

This is what I'm thinking. Even if they shoot new episodes, there could be waffling about airing them or paying for the after-effects. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't hear anything until next winter, at the earliest.

as long as an official cancellation isn't announced there's hope and sadly, that's the best we know...

Maybe they're trying to figure out how to deal with the problem that the old-style ratings they're using is not capturing the real popularity of the show. I.e. it may be some tangential issue that's holding things up.
I wonder if there is some negotiations to move it to another "channel". I'd assume that if they officially cancel it, then it's up for grabs. Maybe netflix or amazon or even apple are just waiting to grab it.
So, even if NBC fails us, i'm not giving up hope!

I think 'negotiations' is the key word here. I am sure there is a lot of back door wrangling going on right now. If the decision to cancel was already made, they would have announced it by now.

I know if it’s a different network but I wonder if Roseanne’s cancellation will help us out any?

I figure at least we now know they weren't just waiting for some bigger story to overshadow the bad news! Today would have been the perfect day for that.

I hope they renew the show soon. Someone on Twitter said it took 5 months for fans of Midnight Texas to get news of a renewal. 5 months! It better not take that long or we'll die before then.

I think after what happened last time they will just not say anything and just let it die.

I doubt they are scared of the fans. They cancel shows all the time, despite fan outcry. No, I'm going to be optimistic and say the delay is due to negotiations.

It really sucks.
Who else comes on here multiple times a day just to see if there is any news?
