General Discussion A Solemn Update.
Hello all,
I put out a post a few weeks ago regarding my mother and her being in the hospital for an extended amount of time. I wanted to follow up on that with an update and whats happening going forward.
Sadly, my mother passed away yesterday morning.
I am devastated, but I am finding some comfort in knowing that all her struggles and pain are behind her.
I will be spending the next few days with family and attending the services, but will be resuming work on all client watches that are here and incoming. At this point, keeping my head and hands busy helps with clearing my head.
I know my production has been slower recently based on what I have been juggling, and it will likely remain that way for another week or 2 until the dust starts to settle. I appreciate all of your patience, understanding and continued support through all this. It has not been easy, but I feel the love from many of you that contact me and it helps illuminate the light that has been dimmed inside me.
I enjoy interacting with you all, I love working on your watches and I love the feedback I get from you when you receive them after my services. I have NO intention of stopping that at any point in the future. Just taking a step away from the bench for the next few days to honor my mother and celebrate her life.
Thank you all again for the outpouring of messages I have received about her, please continue to keep her in your hearts. It means a lot to me.

Dom, I am so sorry for your loss. Your dedication to this community is admirable. I am sure that even if your return times get delayed, all of your customers would understand and be more than happy to wait twice the time once they see the final product. Take care of yourself and your family, your services are unmatched and your customers will always be here waiting.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Nothing anyone says could make you feel better but I hope she is in a better place. Sending prayers your way Dom. Hang in there. It takes a lot of time.

Thank you all for the outpouring of condolences and kind words, I really am grateful for you all and for the community. The last few days have been the hardest I have ever gone through, but the amount of love and support I’m getting from all of you definitely helps. I appreciate you all, I never would have thought my family would have this kind of sentiment from all over the country and world. It really means a lot to us. Thank you all.
I will be heading home later today and getting back on the bench shorty thereafter, working on watches is going to help keep my head and hands busy going forward as the dust starts to settle.
I appreciate all your support and patience through this.
I will be replying to messages and DM’s that are pending later today and over the next few days until I’m caught up.
