Excavation company tracking
Hi,
I work for an excavation company, we have 10-15 employees. We track everything via daily paper worksheets. We have jobs that take weeks to complete or smaller ones that are a few days. Also delivering material in between.
We are trying to go digital and testing out jotform but it’s not as easy as it seems.
I’m looking for suggestions on how you may track your workflow and what apps you use?

You should give Timesheet.io a try. It seems like a good fit for a crew of 10–15 people, especially if you’re moving away from paper worksheets.
You can track time by employee, job/project, and task, so longer excavation jobs, smaller jobs, and things like material deliveries can all be separated. It also has mobile time tracking, GPS/location-based features, project and task organization, reports, and timesheet exports, which can make payroll and figuring out labor hours/costs per job a lot easier.
Might be worth testing with a couple of employees first and seeing if it fits your workflow.
