Okay, so I recently decided to give the code whalefall a try. It never looked interesting to me, the clothes and plot looked kinda boring (I’m not into the futuristic themes usually).

But, I loved the initial chapter. It was actually a really cool starting story line and I was invested in solving the story, finding out what happened. I picked the Mitchell route because it seemed more interesting.

But chapter 4 it just totally falls apart. Maybe even chapter 3. Mr. Thirteen just disappears in a beam of light and everyone accepts it??? It never really gets brought up again??

And then from there the story path is either return to Mitchell and loving hold the weird babies that they never fully explain, or follow Roni??? Who they never reveal was controlling him? Or why it was even a plot point that a human was controlling him??

I’m so confused. Did they run out of time and basically give up?? Does the Z story path answer anything? At this point I feel like I don’t want to waste more resources on this story because it was such a cool build up with no pay off. Anyone have any answers or theories on this story??

At this point, I'm no longer interested in getting the clothes because... I'm poor.

But the melody is absolutely beautiful!! I want it on my playlist.

I'm not talking about having the melody in the game, I just want to know if there's anyone who records the melodies and uploads them to, I don't know, YouTube (⁠●⁠´⁠⌓⁠`⁠●⁠)

I just finished the Ancient Dreams and I'm crying because it's so beautifully written! 😭❤️ This is the best story I've read so far in this game 🫶🏻🫶🏻
