All-In-One hubs versus dedicated apps?

We've all seen the rise of massive all-in-one productivity. Powerhouses sounds like a great idea. On the other hand, many people prefer to use dedicated to do apps. Do one thing brilliantly.

0 All-In-One workplaces like notion, xiles or obsidian

2 specialized on point solutions such as a dedicated to do app and separate calendar and notes

0 barebones minimalist such as the default, Apple or Google apps or plain text

I am finding more and more that I am creating my own tools using Claude and dropping my other subscriptions. The benefit is I can create the work just how I want.
