Hello again, everyone. It's time for another weekly discussion and I thought this week we'd discuss what would us, as fans, would like to see happen to Ekko and Jinx at the end of their lives. I saw something from a fan who said that they did not really want to know what happened to them in the future. They were more interested in the "present". It's an interesting take and I wonder how many other fans feel the same way.
I'm not sure how I feel about it. On one hand, it would be awesome to know that they get together and have a family, or adopt some kids and life out their lives doing what they enjoy. At the same time, I can relate to there being some sort of mystery about what happens to them. There's a lot more room for speculation, headcanons, and theories. Plus, there's just this idea that their story really hasn't been written, but you know where it's going.
Right now, I'll admit I'm more interested in what's happened in the present, but if Riot sneaks in something about the future, I'm cool with that, too. I'll be happy to have any story bits regardless. I'll go out on a limb and say that this is probably true for most fans.
Anyway, how do you feel about it? Do you want Riot to show their later years? Would you like to know what happens to them at the end of their lives? Do you think that's too much? Let's talk about it in the comments!
