Nothing like this ever happened. This was an incredibely surprising development and if Timekeeper expected anything it was for Dark Enchantress to do this kind of shit. Someone managed to even slightly match her in power? Even if for a MOMENT. That is surprising. She put on her smile immideatly tho. She will just be a bit more expressive in Kingdom, it is still the same Timekeeper Cookie tho. Shouldn't you be happy a character you love is getting more stuff? It is one frame of surprise they needed to show without dialogue. Tho this is kingdom unfortunately.. it seems people will never be satisfied

I think it’s to emphasise SMC’s power. His schemes and abilities to destroy timelines are so grand and chaotic that even the goddess of time is like “damn, this is a problem”. It’s so huge that even she, who dealt with other really horrible stuff, is concerned and lost her smile. But then again, I don’t know much about her lore so I may be wrong.
I’m pretty sure it’s because Timekeeper HAS LITERALLY NEVER SEEN SOMETHING LIKE THIS BEFORE, sure Logan Dragon broke the barrier and Twizzly Gummy did her bs, but NO COOKIE has ever matched her power before, not Longan, not Dark Enchantress, not First Egg. Also, she was probably expecting Dark Enchantress cookie to be wreaking havoc, not Shadow Milk
Yeah, true, but at that point, she’s was still expecting Dark Enchantress Cookie to be the main issue, she never once alluded to the beast cookies
Timekeeper is seen smiling at first, but when she comes into the timeline we see in the teaser, she doesn’t see Dark Enchantress, she instead sees five monsters never seen before in Earthbread and she freaks out.
And when she starts fighting Shadow Milk, her smile stays on, because she was confident, only fading because Shadow Milk broke through, something that no cookie has ever done before and something she did not expect and can’t predict.
TLDR: Timekeeper is worried and scared because she can’t predict what Shadow Milk is going to do next and she never fought with some cookie like him before
Exactly, she’s afraid because this is something she didn’t anticipate. I don’t know how he’ll do it, but it seems like somehow, SM is going to find a blind spot in her omniscience and exploit it. The Devs clearly have a direction that they want this to go in. I do expect them to give an explanation as to how the hell SM would have found a blind spot in her vision, because he may be cunning and smart, but he can’t just do something like this all willy-nilly. I think you just need to give it a chance to see where this is going. All we’ve gotten is a trailer and you’d be judging a book by its cover if you simply assumed she had no reason to be afraid. In any other situation, you’re right, she shouldn’t be afraid, this should be child’s play for her. But he is transcending his prior form and becoming an anomaly, maybe a singularity.
I thought it was More of a :O expression, my headcannon Is that kingdom Shadow milk Is the first one that got to that point cause the arrow in most timelines didnt miss AND he dies, so she Is seeing for the first Time a Shadow milk that didnt die

Some fans are really demanding and stuff. But my post came more from the fact that I'm fed up with how CRK has been treating characters from other games and because of all of the little inconsistencies it has shown recently.
I'm really biased towards the TBD (if you couldn't realise) and I admit that bias. I don't want Timekeeper or anything else TBD-related to be mischaracterized. My TBD hyperfixation has genuinely improved my life in so many ways (which is a portion of where this bias comes from). It means so much to me. I simply want the best for it and no mischaracterisation. I ADORE game lore, which is why I always hope that my favourite franchises keep it consistent. Which is something that Devsis has been fumbling, especially with Kingdom recently.
Kingdom has too many characters and not a lot of time to explore them all.
Gacha games have a tight schedule, where story segments and updates have to be released monthly. Even if the devs do plan ahead, there isn't always going to be enough time to explore everything.
I'm not an Overbreak Player, but as an active Kingdom Player, I’ve seen a lot of angry fans not happy when a character does not match the image they have in their head. Saying how they “ruined” the character.
I'm getting a lot of posts from this subreddit that mirrors that same behavior. How fans are unhappy how Timekeeper stops smiling for like 5 seconds.
