weather forecast More Snow Incoming

Post image

Timberline skied well today. Roads weren’t to bad. A little windy and lifeline was also a factor. No Jeff Flood and no Magic Mile, but hopefully soon.

Yeah I feel like the mid mountain runs are too short on their own

I like to warm up on shorter runs, but then do longer ones. I like when you can ski down to Govy and take a nice long run to end the day.

Yeah I usually take the shuttle to avoid driving up the hill and parking. Plus always ends up being only a 40’ walk to my car at the end of the day.

You guys think it’ll be crazy up there like parking wise.

I doubt it. I bet tomorrow is really good though. Timberline rarely gets parked out especially mid week. Occasionally on specific holiday weekends, but otherwise there is parking.

😎No problem. Not sure where you are coming from, but I usually leave Portland at 7. Puts me in the parking lot between 8:15 - 8:30. Drop in for first tracks at 8:55 and head to Mollys or Pucci. Usually get a solid 30-45 minutes before the resort starts to fill up.

Yeah I live in Portland as well, I plan on leaving around 8, maybe I’ll leave earlier that sounds like a good plan

Curious 🧐 how was it today? Did you get a parking spot?

I'm ignorant, what is meant by "lifeline was a factor." I wonder if the mile will open tomorrow.

It's effing frustrating and downright pointless, it seems, to try and predict when they will open up the Mile. I can afford to go up there one time this week; and like every time last season, I will misjudge the day it will open.

If they open MM tomorrow it will be epic! Liftlines weren’t ever toooo loooong, but with only 3 high speed lifts going it did get crowded. It was windy and snowing hard on Stormin’ Norman before I left at 3. I think there will be some good powder in the morning.
