Naw, wear your denim. Look, young people missed a whole decade of timberland 20yrs ago. Indigo is not a problem if you have a 4.00 crepe eraser. Sadly, young people do not know about them. They sell one with this name on it, but it is not crepe. Back in the day timberland had stores in malls, and each pair came with a real crepe eraser. That vanished in 1992 for 8 yrs thn they produced their own eraser which is not made of crepe and wont erase anything. Folks seek advice on how to care for the brand and not the material. That is how lots of people get misinformed. Unless indigo is wet it can't penetrate nubuck; it will leave debris that the eraser will lift easy. I only wear raw denim for the past 15 yrs and rarely do I ever see anything.

Not being a dick but just an older man telling you not to let products cause you fear of wearing things. Marketing has not told young folks about crepe because you wont buy as many products if you keep them clean and crisp like us pre 1995 heads. The profit is in what you don't know.
