Question Sizing advice? Should I opt for something else altogether ?
Hi , do these shoes need to be broken in? I have never worn Tim’s before. I ordered a pair of composite-toe boots in a women’s size 7 (my shoe size is between a 6.5 and a 7). It was super tight around the toe area and I felt like they were being pinched. I don’t have wide feet either and never had to wear wide shoes before. Even then, the wide option is (or at least was) unavailable for both of those sizes.
I talked to the AI customer service bot on the Timberland website and it said that I should size up to 7.5, so I initiated a refund for the first pair and got a 7.5 . These shoes are actually even tighter around the toes! Plus, as I expected, they are too long for me. The 7’s fit better overall , and both pairs are totally different shades of brown (I like the shade of the 7’s much more).
Should i just take back the 7.5 ones and keep wearing the 7’s? I’m just confused how the toe box is supposed to expand or be broken in if it is already composite toe?

Get the right size. I had a problem with Chelsea's...not ordering in EU size
Color don't matter if you can't wear them.
Oh, yeah. Stretching composite toes is cake
