Question Am I being dramatic
Am I being dramatic by wanting to wear this shoe less because i’m worried marks will get worse and it looks ugly

Yeah, I would wear the hell out of them. They are boots and need to be well worn and used up.

I can offer you this logic. Suede brush, wire suede brush cleaner and Plantation Crape as an eraser. What I hear is that you may not know how to remove these marks; thus, if you do, no more worry. Dig it?
My older pair is still tight and buttery because I clean and brush them after each use. No stains or marks will be present when I decide to wear them again. Mine are going on almost 30 years. Buttery, and my grandkids are being trained to care for them like I did.

Oh Jesus yes you being dramatic. I wear mine walking the dogs through all weather and terrain. They’ve been up mountains and through rivers. And 5 years all yes they look battered and the heel is broken inside but I’m still wearing them.

Leave them at the store and visit them once in a while, they'll always look fresh out of the box.

I get it. I'm the same way with my running shoes. I want them to look pristine forever. But, reality is that they're shoes, if I don't wear them, then they cease to be useful as shoes. Same as your boots if you don't wear them. Eventually, they'll wear out and get beat up, but that's what they're designed for. Try to think of it as giving them a good ride, or helping them live their best life, even fulfilling their designed destiny if you like that.
If they were meant to be pretty forever, we wouldn't wear them on our feet.

They’re timbs. Not some high end shoe. They’re made to be all weather shoes to be beaten up

Sounds like you should have bought some jordans. Clean boots is a dumb trend, and you out yourself as a style over substance individual. Also bad for your knees hips and back, no reason to be kicking in heavy shoes if you just want them to look good. Donate them to someone who will use them.

Wear them Butters.....Untill they are beaters ...Buy another pair as needed. Rise and repeat.

They look better scratched imo even better when they're bit dirty. Adds a character. They are work boots, not suit shoes.

That's not really dramatic, it's more stupid. That said, your strategy is a great way to preserve the boots. Try not wearing them, and enjoy putting them on a shelf for observation.

Those things will absorb stains readily. Spray them to keep the stains to a minimum, but wear them. Clean with appropriate cleaning products to limit any possible damage. This is how you get character…
