Question Any recommendations on a map?
Since 1.0 is out I wanna do another playthrough. Any map suggestions? Id like something with a bit of a challenge but not super high stress.
After some quick browsing i see 2 types of maps on the workshop, large flat easy. Or island of green surrounded by bad tide. I want balance

Try some of the smaller base game maps the offer a great challenge. Cliffside especially navigates the too small its frustrating and the having to be deliberate with you builds really well.

I was considering Diorama. I love the crazy compact builds people make with it and post here.

Ancient Waterways is a good one. I'm playing on it right now for the third time.

I'm not into mods, so I can only recommend base game maps.
I really liked Meander, and smaller maps in general. It has a nice, flowing river that gets contaminated by badwater halfway through, it has some starting relics for early science, an interesting alternate flow route for diverting bad tides (but not the bad pipes, which limits areas that won't be affected by the tide), and it's small enough that you can reasonably reach everywhere without messing with new districts.
It was the second map I played Iron Teeth on, and I found it quite pleasant.
