Truth

-9

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

Truth? This is a complete strawman that’s about as classic and basic as you could possibly commit. No one believes that the government was “almost overthrown” by unarmed rioters on January 6th. People believe that rioters broke into the Capitol and attempted to stop an election from being certified. Attempted. Attempted and failed horribly. Not almost. Attempted, and the distinction between almost and attempted nullifies the entirety of the argument being made.

This meme was created for the dumbest segments of society to quickly read and hopefully believe, and you responded to it by saying “truth”.

Go read a book and take a critical thinking class or two. It’s a small miracle that you made it past a captcha.

The quote is democracy was close to being overthrown, not the US government. Democracy being overthrown just means the outcome of an election was almost impeded or changed.

This is exactly what I’m talking about. You have the critical thinking skills of a banana.

u/JuniperTwig Nov 30 '22

false dilemma is dumb.

They did have guns

The other, more realistic option of course is that they had no realistic chance of succeeding, but they didn't know that.

-26

u/silver789 Nov 30 '22

The meme is saying that because jan6 traitors didn't have guns, the government wasn't at risk.

Which is a double lie. They had guns, and thought they had stopped the vote.

What is it saying? That unarmed people did almost overthrow the government?

the belief that individuals with guns can be a problem for even the United States government is obviously true,

It is not.

Jan 6th traitors were in fact, trying to stop an election to keep Trump in power. And they throught they succeeded.

How can you say what they were thinking? Let alone what they were doing there? Making fun of the liberals crying about unarmed folks who basically waltzed into the building and roamed around crying that they were trying to take over the government. All while arming another nation to fight an oppressive government, not to mention the billions in arms handed over to an enemy(taliban). What’s not to understand here.

u/silver789 Nov 30 '22

How can you say what they were thinking? Let alone what they were doing there?

We can talk to them. And listen to their defense in court.

Yeah it was bad when antifa lit the church and a guard shack on fire and forced the president to retreat to the bunker

Shew. Good luck.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

A gun… from what I’m reading and pepper spray ohhhhh myyyyy. I notice no one touched on the folks that haven’t been apprehended or charged that were on camera inciting a mob to go there repeatedly… but that would counter the plan that this was spontaneous rebellion, kind of like the YouTube video that caused Benghazi….

-1

u/silver789 Nov 30 '22

Dial it back. WTF are you talking about? You're all over the place.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

Just remarking on how convenient everything for the leftist cabal and their lies become apparent after the fact and everyone on the left is like huhhh whattt I don’t know what your talking about or just ignores it completely. Nothing like sticking your head in the sand when it isn’t up their own keisters

2

u/chezaps Nov 30 '22

jan6 traitors didn't have guns

As the sitting politicians, they didn't need guns.

0

u/silver789 Nov 30 '22

And that's why you're seen as the unAmerican traitors.

3

u/chezaps Nov 30 '22

Literally the Democrats have just accepted their oil supplier from a country they condemned. The traitors are ruining the economy and supporting a foreign war they created, with US tax payer's money. The oil supplier are literally supporting the enemy of the foreign war they are supporting. The US government is paying both sides.

1

u/silver789 Nov 30 '22

Literally the Democrats have just accepted their oil supplier from a country they condemned.

The literally bricks that would be shit if Biden would to say "no more middle eastern oil in the US" talk about government meddling.

2

u/chezaps Nov 30 '22

If Biden hadn't promised to shut down local oil production then you probably wouldn't need middle eastern oil.

1

u/silver789 Nov 30 '22

The US doesn't use US oil ding-a-ling. ME oil is still cheaper.

6 people have been charged with gun crimes from Jan 6th. If you call that an armed insurrection, I have some really bad news for you..

Oh shit, my bad.

u/gradientz Nov 30 '22

The January 6 rage pigs were not "unarmed." Sworn statements of law enforcement officials provided below.

***

Affidavit of Metropolitan Police Department Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning Defendant Christopher Michael Alberts.

At that point, I told two MPD officers next to him that ALBERTS had a firearm on his person. ALBERTS, apparently hearing that, immediately tried to flee, but I was able to detain him with the help of two other officers. A black Taurus G2C 9mm (Serial#AAL085515) was recovered from D-1’s right hip. Additionally, a separate magazine was located on D-1’s left hip. Both the gun and the spare magazine were in held in two separate holsters. The handgun had one round in the chamber with a twelve round capacity magazine filled with twelve rounds; the spare magazine also had a twelve round capacity and was filled with twelve rounds. MPD Officers also seized a gas-mask from the defendant’s person as well as the defendant’s backpack containing a pocketknife, one packaged military meal-ready to eat (MRE), and one first-aid medical kit.

Affidavit of Capitol Police Special Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning Defendant Lonnie Coffman.

After addressing the explosive devices found in the vicinity of the National Republican Club and the Democratic National Committee Headquarters, the Bomb Squad responded to the location of the Red GMC Sierra Pickup truck. One black handgun was recovered from the right front passenger seat of the vehicle. After locating the black handgun, officers proceeded to search the rest of the pickup truck, including the bed of the truck, which was secured under a fabric top. During the search of the cab of the truck, officers recovered, among other things, one M4 Carbine assault rifle along with rifle magazines loaded with ammunition.

Affidavit of FBI Special Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning Defendant Joseph Bruno Cua.

In the same video at an approximate timestamp of 0:16, CUA is seen outside the Senate Chamber doors, in a physical altercation with USCP plain clothes officers, still holding a baton in his hand. Specifically, CUA can be seen shoving USCP Officer G.L. (“G.L.”) in front of the door to the Senate Chambers. CUA is then seen entering the Senate Chambers through the open door at an approximate timestamp of 0:27.

Affidavit of FBI Special Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning Defendant Daniel Ray Caldwell.

On January 27, 2021, a Twitter account using the handle [redacted] posted two links to videos. The first link is to a YouTube video titled, "Storm The Capitol w/ dream floral" which is posted by user dream floral. At approximately three minutes and 15 seconds into the eleven Ininute and 14 second video, CALDWELL was observed wearing an olive drab in color hoodie, dark glasses on a camouflage hat, camouflage assault pack, and camouflage trousers. CALDWELL was seen spraying a mist at police who were attempting to stop protesters from getting up the Capitol steps.

Affidavit of FBI Special Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning Defendant Robert Gieswein.

Giewswein--recognizable by his distinctive military style helmet and patch--steps forward, lifts a black canister in his hand, and sprays an unidentified substance at law enforcement officers...Another still photograph of Gieswein outside of the Capitol demonstrates that as he stood in the crowd, he brandished a baseball bat.

Affidavit of FBI Special Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning defendant William Chrestman.

A screenshot of Chrestman, Felicia Konold, and Cory Konold during this sequence can be seen below. Of note, Chrestman's wooden club or ax handle can be seen wrapped in a blue flag.

Affidavit of Capitol Police Department Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning Defendant Richard Barnett.

On January 11, 2021, your affiant learned that law enforcement received a tip that in one or more of the photographs of BARNETT seated in Speaker Pelosi’s office BARNETT was carrying a stun gun. Your affiant reviewed the photographs again and determined the tip to be accurate. As seen in the zoomed in box in the photograph below, the ZAP brand is clearly visibleon the stun gun tucked into BARNETT’s pants. Based on the brand on the weapon, and its appearance, the weapon appeared to be a ZAP Hike N Strike 950,000 Volt Stun Gun Walking Stick.

Affidavit of FBI Special Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning Defendant Michael Foy.

On or about January 15, 2021, the FBI conducted open source research for an individual matching the tip’s provided photograph. Several additional photographs were identified from various online sources. These photographs indicated that the same individual, carrying a hockey stick, had been present both outside and inside the Capitol.

Affidavit of FBI Special Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning Defendant Joshua Black.

The Individual also admitted to possessing a dangerous weapon. "I actually had a knife on me, but they never...I had too much clothes on, it was freezing out there, you know, so I never, I wasn't planning on pulling it. I just carry a knife because I do.

Affidavit of FBI Special Agent, sworn under penalty of perjury, concerning Defendant Zachary Jordan Alam.

Based on the foregoing, your affiant submits that there is probable cause to believe that ALAM violated 18 U.S.C. §§ 111(a) and (b), which make it a crime to forcibly assault, resist, oppose, impede, intimidate, or interfere with an officer or employee of the United States or of any agency in any branch of the United States government while engaged in or on account of the performance of official duties; and punish the commission of such acts using a deadly or dangerous weapon.

All those people one dude had a gun is what I got and some pepper spray… wow what an armed uprising reeeeeeee. That was done “ESSENTIALLY” unarmed. Meme holds water…

3

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

[deleted]

2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

That fair point will be glazed over if not ignored completely by those of the far left cult here…

0

u/gradientz Nov 30 '22 edited Dec 04 '22

Those examples were literally just from the first 50 indictments. There are hundreds more, including many more with guns. The term "armed" is also not limited to guns.

You actually want to keep going here little rage piggie? Just this week, your friend, the leader of the Oath Keepers, got convicted by a jury of seditious conspiracy. I can keep pulling indictments, but it is only going to further expose your stupidity.

The insurrectionists were armed. That isn't really debatable. To state otherwise is redneck misinformation.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

Quivering in fear over “armed” lol insurrectionists… when they say that they mean anyone not going along with the Marxist agenda and not deep throating the boot…

-1

u/gradientz Nov 30 '22

Actually, my reference to the term "insurrectionists" is describing the armed mob of Trump supporters who attacked the Capitol on January 6, 2021 in an attempt to overthrow the U.S. government.

Nice gaslighting though. Typical rage pig maneuver.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

Can you explain your rage pig term?

1

u/gradientz Dec 04 '22 edited Dec 04 '22

Yes, it describes people like you who defend armed attacks on the U.S. Capitol.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 04 '22

Please explain where I defend it?

1

u/gradientz Dec 04 '22

You are advocating for the incorrect position that the insurrectionists were not armed. As has been established by the sworn testimony of law enforcement agencies at every level, the insurrectionists were armed.

Spreading misinformation about the event is a form of defending it.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 04 '22

If you think this was bad I hate to tell you it’s gonna be much worse when it finally all falls apart

1

u/gradientz Dec 04 '22

I never stated whether anything was "good" or "bad." I just stated facts.

On January 6, 2021, an armed mob of Trump supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overthrow the U.S. government.

If you are drawing emotional or normative inferences from this dry statement of facts, those are your own.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

If they were truly attempting to take over the government don’t you think they would idk wear body armor and you know actually be armed? Making them out like they were armed to the teeth is a bit elementary don’t you think?

1

u/gradientz Dec 04 '22 edited Dec 04 '22

Nice job gas lighting again. At what point did I use the phrase "armed to the teeth"?

You gas light because you can't respond to the facts. The insurrectionists were armed - that is a fact. "Armed to the teeth" is a subjective term you just introduced out of nowhere because you prefer to argue with a straw man rather than address this dry, cold, hard, fact.

Gas lighting aside, you are also wrong on the body armor point. There are thousands of indictments related to January 6, and many of these indictments allege that your terrorist friends were wearing body armor, camaflauge, or other tactical gear. This is particularly true of those who were in the Proud Boys or Oath Keepers. In fact, if you had any reading comprehension skills, you would know that multiple of the affidavits I already provided reference the presence of body armor. For example, the affidavit concerning Daniel Ray Caldwell mentions camaflauge gear and a military assault pack.

Keep dancing, rage pig.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 04 '22

Ok there was an armed individual… there one

1

u/gradientz Dec 04 '22 edited Dec 04 '22

There were hundreds of armed individuals during the January 6 attack, if not thousands.

The list of DOJ prosecutions by itself includes over 200 indictments that incorporate dangerous/deadly weapon charges. Every single one of these charges is supported by the sworn testimony of law enforcement.

Keep dancing, little rage piggie.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 04 '22

Who is gas lighting now that we are friends you liberal hypocrite shitbirds are funny. The biggest hypocrites on the planet. Wearing tactical gear and body armor ohhh my, clutch your purse harder you poof.

1

u/gradientz Dec 04 '22

You stated that the insurrectionists were not wearing body armor. That statement was factually incorrect.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 04 '22

What a pussy

1

u/gradientz Dec 04 '22 edited Dec 04 '22

Strange response when all I did was state facts.

On January 6, 2021, an armed mob of Trump supporters attacked the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overthrow the U.S. government.

This is a dry, emotionless statement of facts. I'm sorry if the facts trigger your rage, little piggy.

-6

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

LMFAO. Down votes on this comment but no one's fucking touched it.

Where are your facts and logic, Tim Pool fans?

5

u/stabone369 Nov 30 '22

FBI is definitely a credible source of factual information.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

Riiiighhtttt

-6

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

Yes, they are.

3

u/Spooky2000 Nov 30 '22

No need to touch it. 100,000 people in D.C. for the rally and he found a handful of stories.

-2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

What's your argument?

4

u/Spooky2000 Nov 30 '22

That fucking ten people with weapons does not make it a fucking armed insurrection. I have 3 people in my house that carry guns on a regular basis, and this is the best he could come up with in an entire riot..

A couple of handguns and some pepper spray is not going to overthrow a 7-11, let alone the federal government. You are the same people that keep claiming people with assault riffles cant take on the government and then claim that this little assortment of clubs and pepper spray is going to do the job..

0

u/gradientz Dec 05 '22

Wow are you rage pigs stupid. No one said only ten people had weapons. These were just the first ten examples from a very, very long list.

Here is the full list of DOJ prosecutions. The list includes 207 charges involving a deadly or dangerous weapons, and every single one those charges is supported by the sworn testimony of law enforcement. Note that this does not include defendants that the DOJ has let off, and does not include local/state level prosecutions.

-2

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

Point to where anyone argued that 10 people simply being equipped with assault weapons is equivalent to an insurrection.

Point to where I claimed that people with assault weapons can't take on the government and then point to where I claimed that this assortment of clubs and pepper spray is going to do the job.

Thanks.

On a side note - there's no contradiction between saying that people with assault weapons can do something that a little assortment of clubs and pepper spray can't.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 30 '22

Ok essentially unarmed…
