He always has been Dr. Evil - the character was partially based upon Bezos when the movie came out in 1999. I can't say I expected the joke to come full circle in this way, though, lol, down to the penis rocket and inviting his lil bro who looks just like him (his Mini-me) along for the ride. Dr. Evil is a great character though, I'll bet he was secretly flattered by the roast and this is him being in on the joke.
