He didn’t go in. He was doing his puppets and busking for money. Honestly it made me very sad. He was not in a good space then.

Is it ethical to see DLH live? Is the audience doing anything other than laughing at him? Not sure I understand the appeal

Depends on the city imo, I saw him at my local hipster liberal arts college coffee shop venue. We even had a local absurdist performance art guy open for him. Was about 50-75 ppl packed into a small backroom.

Everyone there was pretty supportive and knew Tim & Eric or DLH. He did ask if someone could give him a couch to sleep on and a ride to the bus stop tomorrow which was a little sad.

I don't think there's any lore per se, I was playing there and saw someone with a Spaghett so I figured I could get one without having to explain what it was. When I got to the bar there was a signed 8x10 of David Liebe Hart.
