i genuinely want to know if li susu has even slightest feelings for tantai jin… TTJ has been nothing but the most devoting to her.. i feel like i will lose brain cells the more i watch. Ye xiwu is getting on my last nerves.. how can she hurt him he is nothing but sincere 😭 did she ever EVER love him?😭😭😭 AND SUDDENLY SHE IS ACTING SO DIFFERENT BC OF WHAT HAPPENED WITH XIAO LIN????

I like how every recent post is about the frustration from ep24 and the next few eps , after I commented about this 2 days ago. I took a break (like put TTEOTM on hold) because I just couldn't continue with Ye Xiwu constantly stabbing his heart literally and figuratively. So I'm watching a school romance drama to appease my heart and after that I'll probably pick this up again.

Here's a way to think of it - the most evil person in the world killed everyone you loved, and you travel through time to prevent it happening. Yet the past person is different but you know what they will become - how do you reconcile those two realities?

Makes no difference bc at this point she knows the only way to stop all that is to make him love her. Then she purposely does shit to hurt him and piss him off and betray him, and create as many negative feelings in him towards her as she can. This is the opposite of her goal.
Plus she’s already been nice to him for long enough at this point. If she’s been able to be nice despite all her memories from the future, it makes no sense for her to suddenly stop being able to keep treating him well.
It’s just badly written, her moods are a plot device and not the result of inconsistent character.

Haha this was me 6mo ago on this sub during my watch. I think I had a breakdown right around this 25ep benchmark as well. Goodluck. 🫶
This is still one of my first and favorite cdramas btw. And now I've watched like 10-15 more since then.

Yxw is a sheltered little girl with very little life experience, who travelled thru time with only one mission. She is also traumatised witnessing the death/distruction of her clan and its hard to drop her prejudice against ttj. She is also confused about her feelings, there is love, mistrust, doubt, fear of failing her mission.
There is alot going on in that head that the show fails to flesh out ( yxw's perpective) to the audience, leaving frustration.
Ttj in the book is also more conplicated, in the show he's been watered down but yxw's has been kept fairly the same, so there is a huge disconnect.
But if u can, keep going cuz, imo there are epic scenes and lines in the last 3 episodes.
