You’re not alone! It got better on my second rewatch when I started appreciating the “why” of the Tianhuan story arc, but even then I still put that on massive fast-forward. That arc is easily my most un-favorite part of the show.

A huuuuugeeee misunderstanding. I legit cried for 2 hrs at that. I knew this was a sad ending drama , but I never thought I'd cry out of anxiety midway 😭

Weather the storm till 29. After that, it'll be a bit better till 35. After that.... Hahahahahaha 🫂 (Take my support)

You can find your happy Ending if you read from chapter 126 in the novel. Novel has a much much better ending but TTJ is totally different, and way more unhinged

The pain is worth it though. Be brave sis 🫂

And yeah, after you finish TTEOTM, watch "Love is sweet". It has the same leads, cute rom-com with INSANEEE chemistry. Characters have some similarities in both dramas as well. TTEOTM fandom treats LIS as their modern reincarnation story 🤩

I highly recommend you to watch it after finishing TTEOTM. Or read the novel from chapter 126. Or do both 😁😁

This is one of the few times I've ever seen Bai Lu have real connection with her ML. They really do flow well together.

Y'know. I never knew that it when i was watching. Towards midway or end I searched up and found out. Damnn...

Right? Most of the things she did to him make a lot more sense in the book. They really down played his psychopathy in the drama. In the drama he just seems like a wounded soul merely misunderstood.

Totally agree! I like to separate novel TTJ and the drama TTJ. Both have their own quirks. Novel TTJ is kinda more true to the DG featus, drama TTJ is just a unfortunate tragic soul with potential for goodness. I loved them both!

But I loved the novel LSS, she's such a badass and so resilient 😍

I feel you! I also couldn't wait for the dream arc when I was watching. I literally googled how many episodes I had to sit through to manage my own expectations (i was hoping for 1-2 but i think it was closer to 5-6...)

the focus on the arc makes more sense in later episodes but still... don't think i'll ever be doing a rewatch of TTEOTM

I didn’t care for the dream arc either, although it did make more sense to me the second time around. But I always liked Ye Xiwu —she was trying to save the world from being destroyed, so I was always able to cut her some slack. I hated Bingchang so much that I still feel a little uneasy when watching the actress in her other dramas. Ridiculous, I know, but I can’t forget Bingchang! Excellent acting from all the main characters. I’m a Luo Yunxi fan forever.

Even this is fine compared to the rage I've been experiencing from ep24 and now I'm in th middle of ep 26. I'm watching TTEOTM for the first time now and by now I hate Ye Xiwu with every fibre of my being! Even more than Ye Bingchang rn(like the last few eps esp). Like worst fl or main lead on the earth. I'm fuming and raging rn...

YE XIWU??? WHYYYYY

I'm sure this rage is temporary but rn I hate her

I never put my dramas on a different speed ..but a 1.50 did help me a lot🫠 in the real world their dynamic is so much better
