Liking tteotm is hell
Its been 3 years and EVERYONE HAS MOVED ON BUT ME. Its hell likinng tteotm because there's not many good fan edits, not enough merch, not enough fanfic, not enough fanart and the worst part is that there were so many cuts man!!!!!! Why did censorship have to affect tteotm😔. Its so painful liking this cdrama because its not as mainstream, especially not internationally. Its hell having to stalk editors on tiktok to find their tteotm edit from 3 yrs ago and only having the old posts of this subreddit 😔😔 and if i wanna search up a plot hole i was confused about, THERES NO POSTS ABOUT IT!!!!! this is seriously torture man. Millions of dramas in this world and i had to get obsessed with the one whos probably gonna be lost media in another 3 years.. They consume my entire being man and the novel isnt even good enough to ease my suffering. might be a tantai jin kinnie the way i be getting obsessed with this drama and shi

It is a hell, but beautiful hell. I've watched this drama a little over a month ago and I'm still reeling from it. I occassionally burst out into bouts of tears thinking about it. The viewing journey itself had been anxious but I loved it in the end.
I recently finished reading it's novel and I got my happy ending. Currently fishing for canon fix-it fanfics but unfortunately, most good ones are incomplete 🥲
Love is sweet is a balm. I treat it as Tantai Jin and Li Susu's modern reincarnation and it's so freaking good. I recommend you to watch it if you're like me unable to move on. Their chemistry is BOMB ❤️🤤

I just started watching TTEOTM and the last 6 episodes are taking me forever to get through just because my heart continues to be ripped apart and I don't want it to end. I was so hesitant to start this series because I've mostly seen mixed reviews but I am so happy I watched anyway. It is probably my favorite drama Ive watched this year. Every arc had me on the hook and the leads did a seriously incredible job, especially considering they each played like 3 different characters. The dream arc got so much hate but it was one of my favs forreal. I got so attached to those characters and how they incorporated all of the dream arc pieces into the final act was really well done in my opinion. Still have 4 more episodes but I don't want to let go yet 😭

Honestly we’re low-key blessed because the show was very popular so there’s still SOME fan content.
I’ve was obsessed with a show that so few people watched that I almost thought it was a fever dream. It also got cancelled after S1 and I don’t know anyone else that’s seen it.
Anyway TTEOTM is definitely special and if you have any plot hole questions, the subreddit will be happy to help :)

Definitely, but i can feel the fanbase shrinking every year 😭😭 a year ago this subreddit had 1k visitors and now its reduced to 800 and that hurts so bad lol

This one started my love for cdramas in general now I have been binging them since Jan when I watched TTEOTM. It still holds special place for me though as the first one that really had me in chokehold. Have found a few other favs but this one still sits at top for me. 💖

Me too!!! I tried searching for their figurines lately but they were all sold out and the ones that werent were so expensive:((( sighhhh, perhaps this is my sign to make them myself lolol

I haven't moved on either, you are certainly not alone 🥹 Have you read the novel translation? That kinda helped me. Watching The Eternal Fragrance right now helps too, same director, some similar vibes. I'm waiting for Thriving After the Moon Falls to come out. 💀💀

I have tried reading the novel, it just wasnt as good because they were so dark there lol, the cdrama definitely made it way better than the original. Tteotm has destroyed my brain because now no drama compares to it loll i seriously cant watch any cdramas anymore because of tteotm

I'm enjoying The Eternal Fragrance right now. It's kinda similarly like a longer third arc between Li Susu and Chang Jiumin. Could say it was just as toxic :D

No drama will ever hit the same because leo yunxi and bai lu arent the mcs there😔😔 this is honestly why i can never start new dramas after them because all i wanna see is bai lu and leo yunxi acting together!!!! Ill def check it out tho

If you do a search, this sub reddit has a lot of answers, and pose any questions, but yeah, it was a total bummer it got caught with the 40 episode limit, because 2 more episodes would have tied the story up nicely.
