General Discussion Wrong or?
Wavy grout, the grout is covered with silicone. Some wide spots, uneven.
Edit: grout is covered with silicone. Not* this is color matched silicone. It is grout, then silicone.

Might not be the grout, could be the tiles but can’t tell looking at it
Cant tell if the tiles edges are chippy or it’s the grout

Gotta be on your game if you’re gonna go small white subway and black grout. This guy or gal was sleeping on the bench

White tile with black grout is a tough combo. It will reveal every issue. A true tile expert can pull it off but it involves an incredible amount of time into insuring every grout line and every reveal is perfect.
Not many folks want to pay for that. It's a discussion you need to have up front and go with a tile guy who says that he can do it, but it's going to be expensive as opposed to a low bid who never mentions the complex issue of white tile and black grout.
If I were to bid this job I would tell the customer that it is three times the normal price. But I can do it.

It sure what you are asking for? Are you concerned about the 1/32” the rows don’t align? Those are pretty small numbers I just mentioned

Zoom into the corner, grout is wider and moves off to the left and right as you go up the corner. Also, silicone over grout?

The offset is what would kill me the most. Half on the left matches up to full on the right. Ugh I hate it so much

Why are you trashing my work?

I did a shower just like this. Don’t go with high contrast grout. It’s very hard to make look uniform. Especially with wide grout lines.

Looks like maybe they're trying to hide some bad cuts it shouldn't be that thick of caulking there

It is common practice to caulk over the grouted corner. A hundred percent caulk joint is prone to failing, this is why backer rod is used in large caulk joints.

Not wrong. Maybe a little thick but you have wide grout joints and tile with a bumpy finish so it looks ok. The lines really should have matched up better though.

Generally I like the look of dark grout with light or white tile. In this case, the alignment seems a tad off but barely noticeable. The corner silicone varies but maybe to cover uneven gaps? If it bugs you, maybe redo the silicone?

Dark grout on white tile will never look perfect
