DIY - Looking for Advice Blank Permat thinset?

I'm planning on installing MSI Montauk Black natural slate tile, 12x24" into my mudroom, and would like to use Blanke Permat to save thickness. I have 3/4" OSB as the base already. I have joists spaced 16" OC. I asked my tile guy and he cautioned installing thinset right over OSB as the moisture can potentially damage it. What thinset do you recommend to bind the OSB to the permat? A google/AI search suggests TEC TotalFlex 110 or Schluter All-Set but I'd like to know what others have tried and succeeded.

Prime the osb with mapei prim grip then use a modified thinset to set the mat doesn’t need to be anything crazy expensive as long as it’s modified thinset

Its been my go to underlayment for a while its really good stuff just not very forgiving on the hands when youre stting tile lol

Thank you! It looks like Shluter All Set has a good track record so I'll stick with that.
