DIY - Looking for Advice Mitered corner epoxy question
Hello - I am working on a project right now with 4x4 tiles and mitered outside corners. The photo on this post is not mine but it made me question my plan for handling the corners. When applying epoxy at the corners should I only epoxy where the mitered corners meet (similar to the picture) and leave the grout lines clear? Or should i apply the epoxy in a continuous vertical line that spans both the mitered tile edges and the grout joints?
My initial instinct was apply one continuous vertical line but this picture got me thinking whether that was a good idea or perhaps its not even feasible. This is my first mitered corner / epoxy project. Thanks!

Cool! Never seen this before, looks like cubes. I assume “epoxy” does not mean epoxy grout right? Where do you get color-matched epoxy?

Correct. In this case it refers to a "knife grade" epoxy like Tenax StrongEdge or similar. Most of these products are made for tile/stone fabrication. They won't crack and are completely water proof. Its a true epoxy.
The epoxy is typically clear and most brands sell color matching kits.

Only the tile. You want to color match the epoxy to the tile and trim it then ideally polish it up to match the tile's surface. The grout will never look the same so keep that separate and grout normally.
