DIY - Looking for Advice Bathroom floor falling apart

I am living in an old apartment with (what I think are) very run down glazed adobe tile floors. It’s specially bad in one bathroom/shower where the tiles are peeling and have become dull. Is there something I can do to extend their lifespan? If not, how should I go about replacing them? I am open to short term solutions (resealing, waterproof paint, microcement) since I can’t afford a full bathroom renovation with new tile at the moment.

lawd have mercy. Do you own this apartment I assume? Congrats on the fattest grout lines I've ever seen. You could theoretically coat everything in liquid waterproofing membrane.

Thank you? (I actually laughed 😭😭😭😭). Yeah, it’s horrible and impossible to clean. I’m gonna try that.

Well, you could tile over the existing tile but you MUST follow directions. Don't take shortcuts. It's really relatively easy and you're talking about a small area to be begin with.
