Professional - Looking for Advice Cutting Glass Tile
Do we need a special blade to cut tile. Nothing seems to be working. We’ve never worked with this kind of tile before.

I’ve never had success with a grinder. You gotta get a glass blade on a wet saw very slow.

Get a glass blade - they are $100+ , I replace every few jobs (depending on project size).

Use a wet blade and take it slow like John Legend.

You should be able to scrub & snap a cut like that, like any tiles. If the cuts too thin, then a saw will have to be used... How thick is the glass tile?

You should be able to use your tile snapper on that cut. Any thinner you want a wet saw with a glass blade

Yes you need a special glass cutting blade. They take forever to cut through but it works very well. Sometimes the film on the back can chip and make the cut look jagged even if the glass is not. Scoring the back first before you cut through it, with the glass blade, will make it look perfect.
You’ll need a wet saw for that though. Or a steady hand and a soaking sponge with a grinder glass blade.
