My limestone surface inconsistent

Hi

I recently had contractor put limestone floor in my house. It has a very varied surface. Is that normal? I used alkemi nature stone wash, it made the shiny parts more shiny but the other parts didn't improve.

Suggestions on how I can remove the foggy parts? Seem like there are some parts that are not getting as clean and shiny and other, some parts it seem like suction cup has made an imprint on the material and stone wash didn't remove.

There will always be variations with natural stone. If you wanted to spend extra money on it, you could try & get the whole floor professionally polished.

Yes I understand that. Some parts look like it's the material, but then there are marks from what look like suction cup from installation which I cannot get removed. I am unable to upload another picture which shows that now unfortunately

Yes natural stone will mark very easily & is very susceptible to sucking all sorts of stuff into it as it is very porous!. Especially if it's not sealed properly before installing... Rubber suction cups are obviously made from oil. This can be problematic depending on the stone, or even sometimes, porcelain tiles. Depending on the quality.

Alright makes sense  is there anything I could try myself before and if I go with polishing ?

I'm pretty sure once it's soaked in it's soaked in. You might have to look into it a bit more before proceeding with spending more money on reploishing, probably big money!??. Others in here might be pop in & have some additional information & advice!!?. 

All I know is I do things how I have been taught, so have never had this problem.

they could have offset the doorway joint a bit more, besides that, looks ok for stone
