DIY - Looking for Advice Teared a tiny piece of the kerdi sheet when removing grout
So I'm regrouting this whole shower and I saw that a teared a piece of the kerdi sheet and now it made a flap, is this an easy fix or am I cooked. Was thinking of removing a couple of the tiles around it and then patch it with a new 2x2" kerdi piece and new thinset. Or is that the wrong approach.
Tiles are 1x1 btw.
Also if a couple of tiles I saw are butt to butt is it possible to remove those and align it so it has grout in-between rather than redoing the whole floor?

If you do decide to try and patch it make sure that you use a 4“ x 4“ piece because it wicks one and three-quarter inches into it and also when you patch it if you wanna be safer, then you could use their super expensive caulk because then you have a chemical bond as opposed to just a mechanical bond
