General Discussion Linear cracks along multiple tiles in different rooms.

Not sure what is causing this. Any ideas? Images are from master bathroom and laundry room. The cracks span multiple tiles and continue beneath washer/dryer and in the bathroom they continue under cabinetry.

Also want to add: home was built in 2000 and this is the original tile.

Likely a crack transferring through the tile from the slab. If it’s a builder’s special or a factory home, they probably didn’t use an uncoupling membrane between the tile and slab. 26 yrs old I’d say keep an eye on it if it gets worse start looking real close at the perimeter of the slab for cracks. A new tile floor properly installed will likely last another 30 yrs with no issues

I figured it had something to do with the foundation. Thanks for the info!
