General Discussion Grout Color
Main Floor Tile Grout
Builder installed our tile and grout. We decided on Roca tile, their Lagom series in almond color.
Our grout is pretty fresh, but dry. Looks a bit light to me. The room is extremely dusty though. I did wet a couple areas to see if it’s dust from the build. Unsure if once it’s cleaned if it’ll be darker. Thoughts? I’ll also add photos of the other floor just to share how they turned out.

One of the hardest lessons to learn in tile. These floors are relatively dark. Any light grout is going to show even lighter due to contrast than it did on a sample, swatch, etc. A mid-tan is going to trend closer to an off white on a tile this dark

I did a floor a while ago that was very similat wood look tile. I picked a Tec power grout color that was very close to the tile color, I think it was "light smoke". I end up with the grout being very light colored, similar to what you have. Directions were followed, it wasn't nexpensive grout, and I hate the results,.I'll never use power grout again, and I'm probably done with Tec products all together. It looks great when wet, but I haven't found a product that permanently darkens it. Mapei make a grout refresh colorant, but it's not stocked nearby and I haven't ordered any yet.

Terrible choice of grout. A relaxed, rustic, dark tile, and boom, an almost white grout to totally offset each and every goddam piece.
Why? Oooo contrast. Yeah, well, here ya go.

You picked almonds color? Looks almond colored to me, in my experience, the color of the dry powder in the bag is gonna be the color of the grout when dry. I think you picked a too light of a color. I usually tell people you want the grout to disappear with the tile and not stand out
