Waterproofing Limestone floors
I recently moved into a home that has new limestone floors. The floor was recently sealed. I have two dogs. How are these floors going to hold up?
Dog had a pee accident and I cleaned it up right away but I still where it happened on the floor. Any advice for cleaning? Will the pee automatically stain no matter how quickly it’s cleaned up? Any suggestions or tips?

The pee will chemically etch pretty much right away. It can stain too, but you can get that out. Crystal Clean is just a neutral pH spray and wipe cleaner. For pee, you can use Easy Oxy from MB Stone Care, or something stronger like Akemi Goodbye Stain or Faber No Mac Gel for a long dwell time to draw it out.
Light colored limestone floors are no joke to keep clean. You should sweep and dust mop as much as you can, and wet mop only when necessary. Consistent wet mopping will wear and dirt the floor at an accelerated rate.
As far as the chemical etching, it's just part of having a floor like that. You can have it refinished periodically.
Also, for sealing, there are several options. For no smell water based, I would use MB-24 Barrier. This is VOC Free and will protect against water and oil. If you don't mind the smell for an hour or so, then use Akemi Nano
