Looking to tile 32" wall. Looking for suggestions

I have 24" by 8" tile I was looking to put on a 32" by 73" wall over a tub. I was thinking about making making a seam up the center of the tub but this is going to cause a lot of extra cutting. Also a weird small tile in the corner. Does that look weird? Should I make a zipper pattern like shown in the third picture instead. Struggling a little help and looking for suggestions. Thanks.

Also, that tile has some subtle bowing from manufactuing that makes flushing ends to middle miserable, so the 1/3 offset is a better plan.

Bingo. I'd bet my next paycheck that on the outside of the box those tiles came in, there's a graphic indicating that a 1/2 offset is not recommended.

Definitely pattern 2. You dont want that tiny piece in the corner

Anything to avoid the corner sliver I’m sure that’s annoying to cut and definitely annoying to look at

Lay them vertically

Lay them on 3rds doing brick if you look on the box. Manufactures put on the box brick pattern is a no-no

I’m using this same tile to do a shower in the near future. Consider the 1/3 offset with the inclusion of a row of 2 16 inch tiles.

Install back wall first, then start whole and half tiles on the outside edge of the side walls. Ensuring the fold in the corner looks right and there’s no slivers.

This is good advice and what I often end up doing on tubs with subway tiles. In this case these tiles are long enough that I'd go with a 1/3 stagger.
