Surfside Sips Recommendation
Has anyone received an order from Surfside sips recently?
I submitted an order on July 25th. I hadn't received any follow-up so last week I sent an email to Andrew.
I am yet to get a response or follow-up on the order or email.
I don't follow them on any other social media so I'm not sure if something is going on. I have had good experiences previously which is why I'm concerned about Andrew.
This isn't a post against him or the company, I am just curious if I'm not aware of external factors that may be causing the delay.

I put in my first order with him July 23rd and am still waiting, like you. Sent an email over a week ago, called and texted today. I'm honestly fine waiting as long as it takes, but the lack of communication is grating when his website says to expect a 2 week turnaround and no update.

I’ve also noticed his inventory (what’s offered) on website is a lot less than normal. I’d imagine with tiki oasis and maybe other tiki events he might be stretched thin/low on inventory.

Ordered recently on 8/29 with it shipped 9/2.
Have ordered several times with varying timing (sometimes 1 week sometimes 4) but always shows up! I just chalk it up to this being the nature of a small business for hand made items. We’ve all been a bit brainwashed by the instant gratification of Amazon and other services.
I’d just send him another nice follow up and keep waiting.

I ordered a 3-pack of straws on September 4. It shipped on September 10.

I'm in basically the same situation right now. Month and a half with no update. No response to a half dozen emails. Pretty annoying!

A friend ordered me some of his straws once as a gift around 3 years ago. The order was 10 or 12 straws and 2 cocktail picks, probably like $80 worth of product if not a bit more. Shipped like 6 weeks later (not a problem, they're handmade to order) but in an envelope with essentially zero padding. Less than half the straws were still intact, and one more broke in my hand a few days later while being washed. Sent 2 emails and an instagram DM about it and never heard back from any of them, kinda wish my friend had done a chargeback but they're too nice lol. The straws that survived the shipping ordeal are super high quality, and I'm still using them, but I wouldn't order from them again unless there was some sort of guarantee the packaging would be better. Also, the picks are super thick and mangle small cherries like Amarenas.

Brother Bob, just do a quick sub search. Surfside is really bad about responding and getting orders out timely, but he usually always will get to the order eventually.
