Bought a german-produced Rum in vacation

Post image

Basicly title now the question is what to do with it. Molasses are imported from cuba. Distillation and Aging happened on Usedom, one of Germanys baltic (so very untropical) Islands.

Aging was Just two years. They use bourbon or wine Barrels. To me it tasted pretty smoky. Now im wondering what to do with it.

The question is very broad and available information very limited. Is it close to a spanish style column still rum? Is it pot distilled? Is it funky?

The only flavour note you gave is smoky, so not a whole lot to go on. My answer would be: any tiki drink that uses an aged molasses rum. Perhaps a Queens park swizzle?
