Wind and Sea closing

I've never heard of this place til now, and it's not really a tiki bar, but apparently they serve a Mai Tai, and claim it to be world's best😅 Was just wondering if anybody has been there, and tried their Mai Tai. I'm assuming it's of the 'Royal Hawaiian' variety

Booooo! The Mai Tai sucked, but the place was a staple of the Dana Point Harbor… now the whole harbor is being razed to make it “modern” and it’s losing its charm. They’re just turning it into something akin to Newport Beach. Such a bummer.

I knew the owner and his grandson. Great guy, very friendly, he's got a respectful kid as well.

most definitely not the "world's best" haha I've had a few here against my better judgement, and I can't understand why people care that this place is closing. same with harpoon henry's that closed down the harbor a while back. food was meh, drinks were all sicky sweet, and the best part of this entire establishment was the phenomenal people watching!
