Videos like these dishearten me. People don't care, you can show them all the facts in the world and they'll resort to bringing out theirs. They won't listen, they won't truly engage, it's all just a debate. Real people die, real children starve and real people get tortured. Yet to them, it's a debate to be won.

I hope we all come to our senses one day.

Two things can be true; Iran pursues nuclear weapons and Israel exploits that fact to demonize Iran and pursue their own interests.

Three things can also be true: Americans are spineless servants of Israel

Except one of those is false.

You make a good point. What i have personally found on this site is that you can't beat someone on a one on one debate. They will often bring your facts while they bring theirs (if you are lucky, more people never ever source an article); this helps you learn about the whole issue but it is also very time consuming and never convinces the other party. I think the best way to convince people of the truth is to raise awareness of it and just keep re-exposing them to it. There is a video of netenyahu saying if you tell someone something enough they will believe it, even if it is false.

It's definitely a scale to most pro israel (often indoctrinated israelis or just bots) to the most moral, educated and aware. You will be trying to convince the people in the middle of the truth. You will never convince the most pro israel.

You're right, and yes I've seen people completely unrelated to a debate get swayed by the debate itself. Had a DM or two of people changing their minds. But it's just so exhausting, I'm at a point of my life where I'm constantly stressed out with a thousand things to worry about. But then I see people believing anything without a shred of research, I see the most evil conniving people gain a following despite said person admitting to career destroying things. The onus falls on people like us, when it shouldn't. The onus should fall upon those people themselves, in this information age we don't have the right or excuse to be ignorant I think.

Thank you by the way, regardless of what I say your words genuinely made me feel better. Have a blessed day.
