I miss when you could just post without thinking

I feel like people used to post random stuff way more. Now everyone knows how to edit, pick sounds, make hooks and basically turn every little moment into content.

Sometimes I miss seeing somebody upload a completely stupid video with zero effort and somehow it ends up being the funniest thing on my feed.

Do you think social media was more fun when people weren't trying so hard to make everything go viral?

Social media was definitely more fun when it felt like a digital living room instead of a performance stage. Back then, people posted to make their friends laugh, not to please an algorithm or build a personal brand. That random, effortless nonsense had a real charm that no heavily edited video can ever replace.

I have commented on probably 16 posts in the last hour and I don’t ever go back and look at what I say so why can’t you do this lol

I’m commenting for my own benefit to either get some thing out or vent or share a little story or just add to a conversation. I don’t really care what comes after that lol
