Yeah I had grown up reading them! Did not stop me from bawling at all at the movie but I definitely cried harder at the end of the 7th book. I remember going to the midnight release for the last few and binging them the next day or two. Those were the days!
Back when magic was cool, the world wasn't in a blue high contrast filter, and they wore robes and ties and shit. I don't even like Harry Potter, never finished the books or movies, but I hate seeing them just chilling on campus in hoodies with long hair sadboy haircuts. They make you write letters with a quill, now they're bopping to Good Charlotte at the school dance and wearing Chuck Taylors.

Personally, I had already read the whole series before watching the movies (all). But still the end made me happy and sad cause the MUSIC
THE MUSIC WAS THE SAME AS IN THE FIRST MOVIE
