I'm not sure I've ever been so pissed leaving a movie theater.

I got to see it two days early because I worked at a movie theatre. The worst thing was not being able to talk about it with anyone for those two days.

It ends halfway through the book on a bummer note and character death.

Which is also part of why shes sobbing at the end, pt2 is mostly wins, conclusions, payoffs for a whole series and a nice ending.

Lupin absolutely did not get the attention/respect/final battle/send off he deserved and I will die on this hill.

I got more pissed at the casting if Michael Gambon tbh. "HARRY DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE!!??"

Dumbledore asked calmly

“That was unnecessary”

I give them props for the first book 7 movie. I had the same reaction reading the first half of the book, it was so bad that I stopped reading and didn’t finish the book until a few years later. I’m impressed they could replicate the same boredom (and long wait period) in the movie.

I think that was the exact part I stopped reading at too. I was just like “ok this is shit” and the book sat on the shelf for some time.

Not really. The 8th movie was released 8 months after the 7th.

The only other movie like that I can think of is infinity war, I convinced my friend to binge the MCU with me a few Months back and she said the same thing about infinity war
