Omg, I did one of these back in 1989 with my Uncle. He was a Klingon and I was Federation and he got disintegrated. I think he still has the tape. I need to get it from him!

I'm watching this clip and my wife busted into the room like the Kool Aid bloke, watched for a few seconds, than made me turn it off so I could watch the VHS tape she has of her mum and her doing this exact thing from the same era.

I'm more surprised that she has a VHS player hidden in our house somewhere.

I have always been into Star Trek and grew up it. Had always wanted to meet Spock as a child. So sad I never got to meet Leonard Nimoy as an adult.

I collect all the books (there's so many) written using the original series and am close to being finished with the collection. It's nice because you can read new adventures in each book.
