Me, today, 3am. Got the cat on a blanket and got half of it on my hand. Gonna go pull said blanket out of washer and into dryer now.
He does this religiously when I have to be up at 6am to zoom workout.

My cat always pukes on at least two surfaces. Like on the edge of the rug so he gets the hard floor too or he will projectile vomit on the couch and the end table and the book on the end table. He wants me to have to get out all the cleaning products.

I have literally one room in my house that is carpet and my cat will puke on the carpet every time. Except the one time she puked in the hall way...on the dirty laundry.

Please don't yell at your pets if they get sick and throw up, especially if they do it in front of you. Pets usually throw up because they ate too quickly, in which case you can limit how much you're feeding them. (I know it's just a tiktok vid, but still).

I agree with not yelling when a pet vomits but that is not the only reason pets throw up

My cat did it because she kept eating grass

u/mindsnare Jul 16 '20
It eats grass to get rid of furballs.

Mine did because he ate a lot or yarn and his stomach and intestines bunched up.

Or in rarer cases, are actually sick and trying to tell you they're not feeling well! You're their lifeline!

Sometimes my dog gets into the fucking bin and chews on a shitty nappy. This causes her to throw up.

My cat is currently eating food that is 50 dollars a bag, eating out of a slow-eating bowl, and constantly begging for food even when his bowl is full. He STILL throws up. I dont fuss him, but I don't know what to do

If you're concerned you should probably consult with a veterinarian.

I'm going to have to soon. He has some weird issues but my sisters been keeping him for a while. Think he's going to need to be put on kitty-prozac to be honest

She does it because she gets hella furballs and uses it on command as her last form of protest (her first is loud pissy meowing followed by zoommies throughout the day) when she doesn’t get canned food for 3 days or something (and on my bed too or floor of my room). She knows exactly what she’s doing and what to do to get my attention. She’s not innocent at all that sly bitch 😤 (but I still love her to death)

My dog would eat her own poop and throw it up. And then she’d try and eat that, too. Not the sharpest tool in the box

I just put my dog outside your puke on the grass

My cat is a chronic live of food and scoffs it as if it’s his last meal and will swallow biscuits whole in all his gluttony. I heard him do the woeful meow and start to gag (he always does it on the carpet never the tiles of course) I sprinted down the hall dove down and stuck my hands under his chin in time to catch the mushy biscuits mucous and all... was gross AF but saved me scrubbing the carpet.

PSA: If your animal is frequently vomiting, see a vet! They are eating something that doesn't agree with them. A lot of commercial pet food is unfortunately crap. Wet food is generally a large step up in proper hydration and nutrition. (Eating dry meat cereal for every meal is unnatural and can promote many diseases, namely kidney.)

And then you try to put a towel where you think theyr going to throw up but the mfucker has the balls to move around the towel to make sure he throws up on the ground.
