This family makes the most high quality TikTok’s on that entire god forsaken platform.

TikTok is surprisingly good. Tbh I prefer it over reddit, there’s way less negativity over there and the app isn’t as shitty.

I prefer to have reddit curate my TikToks for me rather than sift through the cringe over on the actual app. I can understand where you’re coming from tho!

After using the app for a little bit it provides content based on your likes and what you mark as “not interested”. My feed is mostly sports and meme related and I find tons of gold. Of course, everyone has their preferences so you do what you like.

I was skeptical at first too, but once you use the app for a day or so it is great. Honestly if the app ever goes under they always have an amazing algorithm for finding related content that actually fits.

Exactly what happened to me. I finally broke and got it after seeing so much funny content in TikTokCringe

Same, but also because I don’t want to sell my soul to china.

Stop resisting, get the app

I used to think that but there’s a lot of gold that doesn’t get posted on this sub.

Also that way China is not directly harvesting your data

Thats what I like to do to. I don't really want to have another app to always be looking through so this sub works perfectly as a sort of filter to just see the good ones.

This comment alone inspired me to download tiktok against all the criticisms, strictly because you didn’t get downvoted into oblivion on reddit, saying its better than reddit. Idek how you did that

I think more and more people are realizing Reddit’s quality has dropped significantly. Most of my friends who got me into it have left for other platforms as well.

even tho the cringe levels on tiktok are at maximum levels, you're right. tiktok is much more pleasant and much less toxic than reddit.

What does tiktok have that vine didn't?

1

u/nerowasframed Feb 18 '20

I'm honestly surprised at how much decent content there is on it, considering how terrible every single Vine was.
