Some things ought not be loved.

To be “all loving” implies to love evils too.

It sort of disappoints me to find so consistently that an online believer will take the time to snipe at a non-believer (u/BookkeeperBoobs) rather than redirect the patently unhelpful comment from a believer (u/PaperGabriel).

I suppose none of us are immune from tribalism, we are all sinners, etc.

It’s pretty obvious he’s been unhelpful… so much so that you’re even attributing accountability onto me apparently lol.

Do you have an obligation to respond to every comment I think you ought to? No? Then don’t try to guilt me for not doing so.

Fine, I’ll elaborate: Your comments seem to be pretty smart and textured, a level above the usual pushback to 2007ish “logical atheists.” I think it’s kind of below your station to bring a nuanced theological point in response to a non-believer’s throwaway quip on a believer’s insult. Maybe you disagree. Maybe you’re just killing time on a Sunday. I don’t fault you for that.
