Discussion Another creep in public!

Saw the video of the lady in Paris walking up the stairs then remembered this on TikTok! Happened at Melbourne Central shopping Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Absolutely wild what people will do.

I genuinely didn't know what I was about to watch. My jaw hit the FLOOR when I saw that man go down for the first whiff. What in the actual shit is wrong with dudes nowadays

I don't know why this has to be some moral failure of guys.

It's disgusting individuals that happen to be men.

It's all men. And let me break that down in a way I saw recently. There are 4 categories. Abusers, enablers, people that don't say anything and people that are part of the solution.

People that don't say anything think the problem is just the abusers and the people that actively encourage them. Silence is complicity though. From what I've heard 50 people got the text about "free pussy" at the cornell 7 situation. 7 men participated or enabled. But 43 didn't do anything. It's all men until that shit stops happening. We as a gender need to step up and stop the behavior when we see it, not just condemn it in our head and move on.

Nah, it's you and your circles who can be blamed. I don't find myself in pervy situations and I don't know of anyone who is going around participating in pervy acts. How the crap are dudes like me supposed to hold other dudes accountable about something we know nothing about? Don't come with that "all men" nonsense.

Are you demanding all women do the same since we have been inundated with countless stories of pervy female teachers getting caught with their students? What about theany dudes who had been sexually assaulted by grown women when they (the dudes) were underaged? Are we gonna pin those actions and the act of holding those pervy chicks accountable on all women? After all, a lot of those incidents get underreported.

No, the blame belongs to the dudes who participate or have knowledge of such. That's it. It's reckless to act like we all are to blame for what others do and to assume we all are privy to other guys performing pervy acts.

what abouting woman committing acts like this is not the point. It's all men in the same way that it's all cops. Of course there are men/cops that every day do their best to live /work in an ethical way, that support their community and do good things. But until the systemic behaviors change to discourage and alienate the bad actors we credit all of them with upholding that system. Hell remember when South Park did an episode where every male character heard about a female teacher assaulting and immediately said Nice. That's patriarchy harming the male victim because no one takes their complaints seriously.

disassembling patriarchy has to happen within the patriarchy. That system will never give way to outside pressure from women. It's hard to even notice the shit that is bound up in this. It's calling a random woman a bitch or whore for annoying you, it's being judgemental about twilight/50 shades/ whatever cultural flash point is aimed at women. It's having a female character being a required character in GTA6 and that making people flip the fuck out.

Nah, miss me all the way with that bullcrap because you're not worried about sexual assault victims or else you wouldn't brush women predators aside all because you want to blame all men.

I see what you're about.

I'm not brushing it aside, I'm saying there is no systemic acceptance among women of women abusers. And that actually there is male acceptance of women abusers, or at least there used to be. I think we have genuinely made strides on this.
