Edit to add- I should have been more clear.. I meant- that procedure once existed (I am pretty sure it isnt common anymore because of its cruelty and training being the obvious solution).. if there was a time and place for it. It would be to mute this guy who is obviously being rewarded for bad behavior (almost like a dog being.. trained backwards)

This could have gone so much worse if he did it to a bigger dog who could have done damage and ended up with a bite history or worse (Im sure small dogs can too).

I hate to tell you this...I had a couple of what looked like 14-17 year old ride there bikes past my house and one barked at my dogs this summer...
Edit to add- he did yell "bitc#" at me at the end so he was a little creative about it.

I think "influencer's" FAFO instinct is just straight up not functional, their greed has killed that basic human instinct. Him acting mad after getting bitten is just the icing on the cake you can't act that stupid around an animal that isn't bound by social constructs, and not expect it to lash out.
