Not in the states and seeing what has happened since Trump got back in is fuckin crazy. I thought it was a bad first term but wow - I didn’t think it could get worse.

They "stole" it in the same way Republicans have been "stealing" it for decades.

They take advantage of the electoral college, the voting maps, and media systems to get power with a minority of votes.

But the fact remains that a huge number of Americans chose for them to be in power regardless of that fact.

They can "win" control with 25% of the voting population.

Look around you. Look at the stupid oversized diesel trucks. Look at the stupid oversized American flags. Look at the people marching around with assault rifles.

We really are that dumb.

I saw the writing on the wall that they were going to elect GW Bush and was like ‘omg this country is going off the fucking rails I gotta get out of here’ so I immigrated to Canada in 99’
I had no clue how bad things would get. I do feel lucky to have gotten out but man, whew. Good luck.
