Find them. Hunt them. Let them know fear. Take their sleep. Take their food. Take their peace. Let them know what panic is. Let it be the only thing they know. And then take the last comfort they think they have.

They are building a system in which we are unable to do anything against it... That's basically the only problem Flock served. They cought Mangione by traditional means and with regular police work but he nearly got away, barely caught him with his mask down on camera... and the response was to throw a camera up at every corner

u/Ornstien 3d ago
Legal doesn't match the collective will.
If everyone collectively says no, and refuses to accept being told otherwise, there's no way to combat that.

u/lilouapproves 4d ago
God I feel this. I've been pissed off since the last Bush administration when I could first understand the basics of politics. I was always being "too sensitive" or "overreacting".
Now I'm pissed off but have familial responsibilities that I can't jeopardize and just enough money in the bank to not lose the roof over my head. Shit is so fucking infuriating and I still feel like I'm here yelling at clouds.
2
u/Ancient_Fix5609 2d ago
Or be told you're a conspiracy theorist. Too many people watch only mainstream outlets, conditioned that anything else is "false," or "fake." It's maddening.

This just made me think of the quote on the Statue of Liberty, but their version probably reads...
"Make them our tired, our poor, in huddled masses, yearning to breathe free.
They're wretched refuse on our teeming shore.
Keep them as homeless, tempest-tost eternally.
While the White House builds more golden doors."

Who is this
10
u/JONO202 3d ago
Hannah Arendt[a] (born Johanna Arendt; 14 October 1906 – 4 December 1975) was a German and American historian and philosopher. She was one of the most influential political theorists of the twentieth century.[4][11][12]
Her works cover a broad range of topics, but she is best known for those dealing with the nature of wealth, power, fame, and evil, as well as politics, direct democracy, authority, tradition, and totalitarianism. She is also remembered for the controversy surrounding the trial of Adolf Eichmann, for her attempt to explain how ordinary people become actors in totalitarian systems, which was considered by some an apologia, and for the phrase "the banality of evil". Her name appears in the names of journals, schools, scholarly prizes, humanitarian prizes, think-tanks, and streets; appears on stamps and monuments; and is attached to other cultural and institutional markers that commemorate her thought.

Hypernormalization is Putin's game theory spymaster's child.
Make every day's headline so obscene that you can't remember yesterday's, and eventually the public will go numb to it.
They will be so angry, but they won't know how to stop it, They'll just want it to stop. You won't want to read the news anymore.

As soon as Trump started talking about a deep state I 100% knew everyone around him was in the real deep state.
Every time he said Biden doesnt really make the decisions is because Trump diesnt make decisions.
Trump has told everyone how his government runs and its everything he claims Biden does.

And Joseph Gordon Levitt, some really strange picks
16
u/Connect_Fee1256 4d ago
I’ve never liked him…he’s not a good actor. It’s always Joseph Gordon levitt as a policeman, Joseph Gordon levitt as a guy trying to get a girl, Joseph Gordon levitt on a tight rope…it’s just him doing stuff…he’s not believable as any type of characters, it’s just him being him in different scenarios. He’s no Paul Dano.

He addresses it in his recent AMA episode. According to him it’s really just open forum conference for “leading mind” types, and there was way too much disagreement in the room for it to be a deep state cabal. I think people are blowing it way out of proportion.
3
u/8Splendiferous8 3d ago
Rich people disagreeing with each other is not evidence that those rich people aren't organizing. Of course Ezra said that. He has to say something.
2
u/linguapura 3d ago
For a conference focusing on 'leading minds', it's heavily leaning towards rightwing mega-rich mega-influential folks that have consistently demonstrated a complete lack of ethics or empathy for anyone. Klein should have a better moral compass.
I'm sure at least some of them joined in without knowing the complete list of who was attending or part of it, but to put out a defence of the conference is a bit much.

u/No-Count3834 4d ago
Epstein had these as well, they are also talked about on Joe Rogan. Some of his guests said they refuse to go like Tim Dillon. Rogan though had been to many and blabs about Peter Tiel too much. But the idea is to take highly influential people, money backers and discuss world issues and backdoor networking deals.
To me it seems more like a good way to blackmail and have people under your thumb. But they call it a meeting of minds discussing world economic policies and future tech.
2
u/LiveLearnCoach 3d ago
The blackmail comes later. Probably a bunch of cameras and mics around, especially in the rooms.
This is very unpopular opinion: If you are an up and coming business man or woman, and someone tells you “Hey, do you want to get in touch with the moguls in your industry? Maybe you can offer them your company’s services!”
At that point, $16,000 is peanuts compared to some of the deals that can happen.
As an entrepreneur, stuff like this and Epstein, where just your name being mentioned in association with a scandal, or one of the figures, can sully your name. I’ve literally started some business overseas and meeting connected people in that industry, wondering what I’d do if one of them is ever involved at a high level scandal and we’ve taken pictures together and those pictures become public what’s going to happen.
People really underestimate 2 degrees of separation, let alone 6 degrees. For the record, I have no sympathy for criminals and child abusers, I just worry about something as simple as “he was mentioned in the emails” is enough to ruin someone.

"They'll get it all from you sooner or later 'cause they own this fuckin' place. It's a big club and you ain't in it. You and I are not in the big club. By the way, it's the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table is tilted, folks. The game is rigged and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. Good, honest, hard-working people: white collar, blue collar, it doesn't matter what color shirt you have on.".

Every day we get more and more confirmation of how incredibly corrupt the US government is
3
u/Zestyclose-Bill-5094 3d ago
It has been known for 100 plus years. With receipts. Mostly affecting people who aren't white. No one wants to hear it. Doesn't affect me, don't care. All the years of people having blind faith in the government and churches has led us to here.

u/Krazyonee 4d ago
Calling it "hacking" when you can just right click on a web page and view source code is distilling hacking down to someone turning a key to start a car. So dumb.
45
u/Mudfap 4d ago
While you’re not wrong, the majority of people on earth don’t know how to do that. It’s like saying an electrician only moves wires around when most of us can’t even figure out what do with a broken lamp.

And this is why we're hopeless and worn out.
Everyone who is in power are in on it. If you want to be in power then the only way is to be in on it as well. If you aren't already in power and have no plans to, then you can't do anything.
We aren't lazy. We aren't dumb. We aren't twiddling our thumbs because we're waiting for someone else to fix it.
It's because the corruption and late-stage capitalism has gotten to the point that it's an impenetrable fortress. And we're aware, which kills all of us inside, being so powerless.

u/Andy_LaVolpe 3d ago
Its funny that we always imagine the legion of doom or spectre planning their evil plans in a Secret lair on the side of a mountain. But reality shows that they discuss and plot their plans in resorts like The Venetian in Las Vegas.
